Sound & Video was founded in 1994 by Randy & Tina Looke. Both had worked for other companies in the past like Tweeter, ABT and Circuit City. With their combined knowledge in the electronics industry, they both felt that they could offer products and services to the public that other companies did not carry.

As a family run business, they started with a small 900 sq ft showroom in Palatine specializing in satellite systems and specialty installations. Over the next 16 years, Sound & Video grew, flourished and eventually expanded into a full 6000 sq ft audio-video showroom – boasting a 165" custom home theater room, dozens of flat panel LCD and LED TVs, audio systems

and much more.

Over the years, Sound & Video's highly trained and award winning installers have completed thousands of custom installations that other companies could only dream about.
